As work schedule kept me occupied for the new year, i looked back at my past blog entries and smiled..

Glad i had this little space of mine to record down the teeny weeny bits of my life that i can turn back and reminised.

 

The QUEENS are aging! Like seriously, it just seems like 6 months back when we were all still in school, hanging out and doing stupid things. What are we now? Young women almost a quarter of century old. As i penned down this entry, i am actually listening to "Mercy" in Mandarin Oriental , Philippines. =D

 

As we welcome the new year, our baby queen caught up with us and we had a full attendence to JB for a food trip. It was really scary how 8 gluttons can travel so far to a neighbouring country just to feast on Lok Lok, San Lou Seafood Cze Char and random food all in half a day.

 

We ended the trip with a slice of Baskin Bobbins for the birthday gal cos all of us are stuffed to our neck. And of course we are glad that ALL of us indeed enjoyed our company. Our bus rides, taxi rides, and no matter how age catches up with us, our friendship will only be stronger =)

 I learnt to understand blog entries can just be for myself. Or for my loved one dear to me to look back and laugh at ourselves, so it really doesnt matter if anyone of us look stupid, ugly or fat... I just love them! <3 p="">

 Happy Birthday my dearest Alice, thanks for being the unique one that add on so much laughters, fun and joy in our gang. I love you gals!

 

And of course, how can we miss our annual Xmas celebration with food and surprises. 2012's Xmas celebration was completed with 2 huge PORK Knuckles recommended by the famous food blogger AiMakan! Hazel never fails to add rainbows to our meetups with breathtaking things tat makes us fat.

And of course, if you ask our dearesr Jorine to add on some dish, this is what you get.

 And yes! these are all my presents from my dearest gals! we had to buy a present with a price budget of $5 for each of us and we did a good job! <3 p="">

2013

Welcoming 2013 =)

2012 has been a good year, just a short recall of what happened in my life for the past one year.

Career, i left Husky and joined Harris Caprock in 2011. Had a great opportunity to work with Irene and headed on to Enfatico where i met great people like Ian and brought my Bim in. Moved on with Jardine in May 2012 and is currently still surviving well.
Had great opportunities under Irene's care. Felt really blessed to have her as my manager, a mentor, colleague and friend. Screwed up few things, guilt struck but still glad that i made this step.
Flew on my virgin oversea trip to Saigon, KL and Hong Kong in November 2012 and it was indeed a great step in my career. I am so lucky to have such a supportive Boss!

Studies, i finally pulled through the 3 year degree course with UNISIM and graduate with the Bachelor in Science (Business) this June. Nothing could be more touched than this accomplishment of mine! Finally i can have the evenings to myself and no rush for TMAs, ECAs and lectures =D
Its a fruitful journery and it was really a bonus for me to be enrolled in my Mr Michael Lum's class on my last module ( Business Strategy) with awesome classmates. Never would i imagine i could still be bathed in the laughters, joy, fun that i would ever imagine i will experience as a part time student. The last 6 months really added on rainbow colours to my mundane 3 years of Uni Life.

Relationship, as per my previous post, Yes i am engaged. With my 5 year boyfriend Eugene on the 24th November 2012. No particular reason to the date but i have to admit it was really a pleasant surprise proposal in Hong Kong at East Hotel whilst i was on my business trip.
These 5 years havent been a smooth sailing one. Ups and Downs, quarrels and wars but i am certainly glad we made it so far and are planning through to our next phase of life - Marriage.
Our character has never been the perfect fit. We are both strong headed, impatient, individuals with pride and high ego. Clashes are often inevitable no matter how hard we tried.
These years comes by, yes i do realise that he tones down alot for me. Gives in more and showers more of the softer side of him.
And i really worked hard trying to be the best partner, to be more accommodating, milder personality, sweeter gf.
BUT you know sometimes things just screws up unknowingly with our stubborn character. 
Sometimes i wished he would give in a little more, and i wished i could be less of a bitch.
As i am penning down these words, we are currently on a cold war while he is in KL.
I cant anticipate what is it like of us 10 years down the road but i am really thankful to have him in my life all these while, adding in so much wonderful memories, laughters, joys and love in my life. 
Life couldnt be the same without him.

Family, all are good in 2012. Unfortunately mummy was diagnosed to have more serious diabetic conditions last month, which means she has to start some insulin medications and not just controllable by monitoring her sugar level. Hope she will be of a better health soon!
With both Derrick and i more stable into our jobs, we are happier with less financial burden. I get to travel more often, splurge more on myself and my family. Just glad that all is well and my little Colgate is still as lovey as always.

Friends, ive always thought back and wondered why am i so xinfu to be surrounded by angels. I can live without my Queens. We had our virgin Queens official trip to Taiwan on a 10 days  9 nights trip to Taiwan with Hazel, Jorine, Alice, Huimin and myself. This is indeed a huge milestone in our lives!
Having to discover little little things like Missy Grouchy Lion, our never waste food Alice, my crazy sayang who went jogging off on the streets in Tainan, the amusing encounter at Sushi Express with Alice overhearing all the sarcastic comments that was on us my their brainless staffs were priceless. I flared up on some whom i regard as my dearest but i still love them as always.
Another achievement which i deemed was to be involved in Eugene's peers and gang. Its always tough for him to yolk into my group and i always wanted to be part of his gang and we did. 
A home cook session for his friend Ryan has marked me for life with scars on my face crediting to the salted egg yolk dish that i cooked. 
But wells, im still happy that i was there,participating in his life of events =)

Summing up the series of events in 2012, i have the new resolutions set for 2013 and is ready to embark on a new journey in this new year.

I have definitely achieved majority of my wishlist items and will be setting some new goals for 2013
- Degree
- Grad Trip
- Good Job
- Canon S110, Prada Wallet, KTV System

2013 Resolutions
- Healthier and Fitter me! ( Shed those oil and target to 50 kg this year!)
Ive signed up for the 2 year fitness first and hope the ache of parting with the cash would get me going
- Driving License
Ive been saying this for years and yes i should prove that i can get it!
-Career Progression
To really work on my carelessness at work and to contribute more!!
-Holiday
Like a trip with my friends/bf or a family trip to sponsor my parents to somewhere near to start with
- Education
To realise my next path on my Master Programme in 2014 or 2015/


Till DEN! BYE 2012 and i am expecting more from you 2013~
